Audience


Our main audience is teens. Aged between 15-19.
Our film would be certificate 15.

To address our audience we have used a well known film song, "In the House, in a Heartbeat" by John Murphy, in our titles. This song has been used in popular Hollywood busters such as 28Days Later and Twilight.

Our main character, the only figure seen in the opening titles, is dressed in fashionable clothing with an up to date hair style. This automatically creates a teen persona for the character, this is relatable to the audience.

By using "Art House" styled editing we have given the effect of new and original filming to our product, appealing to the new style of Low Budget films that are becoming popular.

Personally I feel that by almost over editing our product we have created a new style of horror film. A style which is more up to date and stays clear of clichés. I would definite watch our film and I am a teen. I have also showed our film to several of my friends, aged between 15-18, who have said they found is creepy, original and hooking. Exactly the effect we hoped to create with out editing and unusual use of camera angles when filming.
